According to the rules of Italian Volleyball League, red card usually means a one-game disqualification, at least. But, it can be substituted with financial sanction.

Perugia decided to pay 3,100 euros fine and allow their coach, Serbian Slobodan Kovač, to lead the team in the second game against DHL Modena, scheduled for May 5.
