Slobodan Kovač and his men finished the Regular Season at the 5th place, but then they prevailed against Verona in a stunning quarterfinal series, while after that they downed Lube in the semifinals… However, the Block Devils could not go to the very end.
In the big finals Perugia got defeated by Modena and stayed without the championship title. Still, Slobodan Kovač was proud on his team.
“In the end we were afraid to win, but we can be proud on our performance. Many people thought that it will be a walk in the park for Modena, but we kept our honor. Next year, we will have to do something more.”
