The FIVB has accepted the request made by Serie A1 vice-champions against the Cuban player and recognized the economic and moral damage caused by his non-compliance to the contract which was signed in the last summer transfer window.

In addition, the FIVB reserved the right to take further disciplinary actions against Uriarte.

Recall that Uriarte officially agreed terms with Perugia but then signed with another club, in Turkey.
