Jiří Kovář, the Czech-born but Italy National Team player, will stay in Serie A1 giants for another season.
The 27-year-old receiver will spend his sixth season in Lube, already having won two titles in Italian Championship (2012, 2014) with the club. Last season he had major problems with an injury, being absent from the court for a long time.
Recall that Kovář was not in Lube preliminary roster for 2016/17 along with Grebennikov and Miljković. Afterwards, they registered Grebennikov, now Kovář, but not Miljković. Serbian opposite said he would like to stay.
Lube need to secure one more setter and perhaps one more middle blocker to close the squad for the next season.
