In November, Ravenna raised a crowdfunding campaign to save the club from the shutdown, which expires in January. Thus, Italian men’s volleyball club published an appeal to all their fans and city authorites to help them avoid shutdown.

Ravenna are true Italian and also European volleyball giants with six national championship titles, three CEV Champions League gold medals and one FIVB Club World Championship trophy. At the moment, they are ninth in the Serie A1 standings with 6-11 and 19 points, still having chance to reach the playoffs.

Didn’t Modena have the same problem before the start of the current season and didn’t they do the same thing for trying to solve this problem? And that while they were spending big money to buy big players? I assume that the problem for a lot of teams in Italy is clear.
