“Gutierrez played as the opposite for the Cuban U21 national team, that has won the silver medal at the recently finished World Championship. He is a talented young player with great physical qualities. After a few years, we are delighted to be able to sign a player from Cuba. He and Buchegger are our great prospects,” says Marco Bonitta, managing director of Ravenna.
This transfer has been confirmed by the official website. The head coach Fabio Soli has also commented on the new signing:
“He is a very interesting player who has shown his potential at the Pan American Cup as well. I think he is the main weapon of the Cuban national team. Out team will grow together with him in a challenging championship such as Serie A1.”
