Ilyasoğlu
Selime Ilyasoğlu is a new member of Cuneo. In the previous season, the Turkish player played for Romanian Volei Alba Blaj with whom she won the silver medal at the CEV Champions League 2018.
Several years Selime was a member of Eczacibasi, Galatasaray and Besiktas and in the next season, she will for the first time play in Italy. This will be her second season abroad. She also has 38 appearances for the Turkish A national team, with whom she won the bronze medal at the 2011 European Championships.
“I was delighted to receive an offer from Italy and especially from a city with a great ballistic tradition like Cuneo. I can not wait to start training with the team and get to know the Italian fans and Cuneo fans. I hope that we will be able to get rid of our satisfaction in this championship and get more and more involved” says Selime Ilyasoğlu, a new member of UBI Banca S.Bernardo Cuneo.
