Japan Men’s V.League: Kunihiro and Kubiak led Panthers to 14th win

The Japanese Volleyball league for men has been continued and the leaders Panasonic Panthers scored the 14th victory from 15 matches.

Kunihiro Shimizu and Michal Kubiak were the main scorers on the winning team.

ToyodaGosei Trefuerza of Igor Omrčen won their 10th match and with 28 points are in the second place. Croatian opposite once again was the top scorer with 18 points.

Toray Arrows and Gavin Schmitt celebrated the third consecutive win while JT Thunders and the Australian opposite Thomas Edgar suffered their third consecutive defeat.

JT Thunders – Toray Arrows 1-3 (25-19, 22-25, 19-25, 23-25)

Top scorers: Edgar 30 (3 bl, 9 ac) – Schmitt 32 (1 ac, 3 bl)

Panasonic Panthers – Suntory Sunbirds 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-18)

Top scorers: Kunihiro 19 (2 bl), Kubiak 14 (4 bl, 1 ac) – Escobar 11 (1 bl, 1 ac)

JTEKT – Sakai Blazers 0-3 (28-30, 20-25, 20-25)

Top scorers: Kaziyski 15 (1 bl, 2 ac) – Wallace 23 (1 bl, 1 ac)
