Hyundai secured their place in the finals of the Korean league with a convincing 3-1 victory over Suwon KEPCO Vixtorm in the crucial third semifinal playoff match of the V-League.
Oreol Camejo was the standout performer for Hyundai, leading his team with an impressive 26 points and a remarkable 71% success rate in attack. Despite Thijs ter Horst’s best efforts with 18 points (50% attack), it wasn’t enough for Suwon KEPCO Vixtorm to replicate their previous victory. Following an intense battle with an overall result of 2-1 (3-2, 2-3, 3-1), Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers progressed to the final series of the Korean V-League playoffs.
The first final match, scheduled for March 30th, will feature defending champions Incheon Korean Air Jumbos hosting Camejo and his team in a best-of-five format.
Playoff: The first goes directly to the final (best-of-five format); the second will advance in the semifinal (best-of-three format); the third goes to the semifinals if the difference between the fourth placed team is greater than 3 points, otherwise the third and fourth placed teams will face each other in a one match to decide the second semifinalist.
