The girls from Maribor defeated Nova Gorica in the fifth game to clinch the series 3-2 and to win the 16th championship crown.
After two sets, the game was still uncertain and both teams had chances to win the series. However, Branik played much better in the third and fourth set to win the game.
The top scorer of the game was Iza Mlakar, who scored 34 points in this match.
