With the end of the 2019 CEV EuroVolley, a nine-year era of head coach Warm in Austria Men has come to an end.

The 51-year-old German expert has been at the helm of Austria since April 30, 2010. He won the bronze medal in the 2016 CEV European League, which was the first-ever indoor volleyball medal of any of the Austrian national teams. Warm set another milestone for Austria Men by participating at the in 2017 FIVB World League, the first time for the country’s national team, while he also helped Austria qualify for the 2019 CEV European Championship. It was the maiden appearance of the country’s men’s national team in the continental event.

For the time being, Warm will dedicate his coaching career to the German side of VfB Friedrichshafen.
