An experienced Canadian opposite hitter Gavin Schmitt, a returnee to the Korean Championship after seven years, has exploded today. Just as the half of the 2019/20 Dodram V-League regular season approaches, Schmitt decided to shake things a bit and scored 45 points in the 3-1 (25-22, 25-19, 21-25, 25-23) win of his team Suwon KEPCO Vixtorm against Uijeongbu KB Insurance Insurance Stars!
It was a duel of the two teams occupying the last two spots in the charts after 17 games. Interestingly, Schmitt staged his best scoring output this season prior to today against the same opponents. Obviously, there’s something in the KB Stars that inspires him to shine. All in all, 45 points is the best single-game scoring performance in South Korea this season, for now.
