The manager Georges Matijašević announced that his client Laurent Tillie will definitely take charge of the Panasonic Panthers in the 2020/21 season. Thus, the news that L’Équipe published a few days ago, was confirmed. The only difference between L’Équipe’s news and Matijašević’s announcement is the length of the contract for the outgoing France Men’s National Team head coach. Tillie has signed a four-year deal instead of a three-year deal, as the distinguished French newspaper reported.
After 8 years with French NT, Laurent Tillie is new Head coach of Panasonic (Japan)! Will join our client Michal Kubiak next year. Laurent will start after OG. Signed 4 years, which is important sign of confidence from the club. Congrats! #LZSportTeam #Panasonic #France #Tillie pic.twitter.com/By0f8LaMLC

Matijašević also confirmed that the Pole Michał Kubiak will stay in the Japanese club for one more season, respecting the contract he signed last summer.
