Maldonado is the new head coach of the Spain men’s National Team and will direct them through the qualifications for the next CEV European Championship, in 2021.

The 55-year-old Argentine expert has been working as a head coach of CyL Palencia 2020 (currently in the second division), a club which is actually the Spain men’s Youth National Team, for more than a decade.
