According to Gian Luca Pasini, the 2016 Rio Olympic Games winner Lipe will strengthen Japan’s titleholders JTEKT Stings in which he’ll replace Bulgarian Matey Kaziyski.

The veteran outside hitter spent the last season in his home country, wearing the jersey of EMS Taubaté Funvic, and will return to playing in Japan after 11 years (the Panasonic Panthers 2007 – 2009, won the national title in 2008).
