JPN W: Toray collect 16th win in as many games

The Toray Arrows have further increased their chances of finishing the regular season of the 2020/21 Japanese Women’s Volleyball Championship as the top seed.

The Toray Arrows are undefeated in the 2020/21 Japanese Women’s V.League Division 1 regular season even after playing 16 matches. Today, the league leaders swept the Hisamitus Spings: 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-20). The Slovakian-Azerbaijani Jana Kulan top-scored the winning side with 18 points.

The vice-leaders NEC Red Rockets didn’t let Toray escape them more in the chasts. With a four-set victory over Hitachi Rivale, their 5th in a row in the competition, in which Sarina Koga put down 28 points, the Kawasaki team remained at -7 in relation to Toray (46 vs 39).
