CZECH CUP W: Olomouc win trophy third year in row

VK UP Olomouc won the back-to-back title in the Czech Women’s Volleyball Cup.



For the third time in a row, the trophy of the Czech Women’s Cup ended up in the hands of the players of VK UP Olomouc. In the final of the 2021 Český pohár ženy in Teplice, they beat VK Dukla Liberec by a 3-1 (21-25, 26-24, 25-20, 25-21) and won the title in the competition.

Spaniard María Priscilla Schlegel top-scored the winning side in the final match with 22 points, while Slovakian Nikola Stümpelová set up as many as 8 blocks. These two teams will continue the fight for the top spot in the regular season of the national championship. Liberec are the leaders, while Olomouc are second-placed.
