Roeselare
Knack Roeselare won the Belgian Men’s Beker van België for the 6th year in a row. In this season’s final held in the Lotto Arena in Antwerpen, they prevailed over their eternal rivals VC Greenyard Maaseik by a 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 19-25, 25-19). Thus, Roeselare tied with today’s rivals at 14 titles in the competition, holding a joint record.
Asterix
The women’s final followed the men’s and was played in the same venue. Asterix Avo Beveren swept VC Oudegem by a 3-0 (27-25, 25-12, 25-20) and, just like Roeselare, conquered the competition for the 14th time. It was the 23rd final in the national cup for the Kieldrecht club.
