Beijing-vs-Zhejiang
Both semifinals of the 2020/21 Chinese Men’s Super League were held today.
Beijing, undefeated this season, beat Zhejiang by a 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-23) and entered the final. Jiang Chuan led the winning side with 18 points. Serbian Uroš Kovačević made 76 % reception (21 digs, 76 % perfect).
In the other semifinal, the reigning champions Shanghai staged a little upset by sweeping undefeated Jiangsu, mostly thanks to Wu Pengzhi (12 points). Qu Zongshuai made 74 % reception (19 digs, 3 errors, 74 % perfect).
Beijing are favorites in the finals given they already beat Shanghai once this season – in the group stage.
