EEVZA General Assembly to discuss Georgia’s possible affiliation

The annual General Assembly of the Eastern European Volleyball Zonal Association (EEVZA) will be taking place this coming May 18 in Lvov, Ukraine. The meeting is set to be attended also by CEV President André Meyer and will get together representatives of the EEVZA member countries, i.e. Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Ukraine.

EEVZA President Vladimir Patkin has invited to the meeting in Lvov also the President of the Georgian Volleyball Federation, Irakli Chachua, who will be traveling there together with the Head of International Affairs of the Georgian Volleyball Federation, Mr. Andro Lezhava. The possible affiliation of the Georgian Volleyball Federation to the EEVZA will be discussed in Lvov. The General Assembly will also draft the calendar for 2014 as well as finalize the official regulations for the competitions set to take place next year.
