Both Ukraine and Hungary have an impeccable record in the tournament with six sets won and zero lost, so the result of their showdown on Sunday will determine the first and second ranked of the group and hence also who makes it to the third and second round of the qualification process.
In their match with Albania, Hungary was paced by Renata Sandor and Rita Liliom with 15 and 11 points respectively while three Ukrainian players – Nataliia Zakharchuk (18), Tetyana Kozlova (16) and Nadiia Kodola (12) – finished the game with Moldova in double digits.
