Following a special request, Tianjin Bohai Bank have received approval from the national team that Wei Qiuyue and Chen Liyi can play the Club Championship before returning to their training sessions with the national team, which started March 27.

“Keeping Wei Qiuyue and Chen Liyi in our team, we can play the Asian Club Championship with the same main lineup as in the Chinese Volleyball League. Our goal is to take the title and advance to the World Club Championship,” said Mr. Wang Baoquan, head coach of Tianjin.

The 2014 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship will be held in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand from April 17 to 25 and will decide the team that will represent Asia at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship 2014 in Zurich, Switzerland from May 7 to 11.
