This meant the fifth title for Volero Zurich in a row and the ninth overall.
Once again Alesia Rykhliuk showed her great talent and domination in Swiss championship. She scored 21 points and was awarded as MVP of the Swiss Cup.
Kenia Carcaces have made 13 points, while middle blocker Nadja Ninković scored 12 points (4 from the block). Libero Silvija Popović had a great day with perfect reception and helped her team to create good game.
“We started very strong, with good services and Neuschatel did not have chance to organize their game. When we lead with 7:0, it was clear that our opponent does not have an appropriate response for our game, and after just 70 minutes we achieved new title for our club. I’m proud of my players and their responsible and professional attitude towards the opponent, even when it is clear that we are much stronger” – conclude head coach Dragutin Baltić.
