F.C. Tokyo, who are struggling to enter the playoffs in the Japanese V.League for years, have engaged probably the biggest volleyball star of the Philippines – Espejo. A 24-year-old outside hitter, a member of his country’s national team since 2015, will thus continue moving around Asia with the expectation of receiving an offer from outside the continent.

After leaving Cignal HD Spikers, a club in his home country to which he came after an exceptional university career during which he set the new single-game scoring record of the Philippines, Espejo played in Japan, Thailand, and Bahrain. Now, he is back in Japan.
