Wounembaina will stay in the Middle East but will change the country he will play in. The 36-year-old Cameroonian star finished the last season in Libya’s Asswehly S.C. after ingloriously parted ways with France’s Tours, where he served as a captain, in February. Now, the outside hitter, Best Receiver of the French Ligue in 2018/19, moved to the ranks of the 25-time Qatari titleholders Al Arabi S.C.

The Doha club engaged another experienced import for 2021/22. It is the Brazilian opposite hitter Felipe Banderó, who spent the last season in the jersey of Korea’s OK Financial Group OKman.
