The Belgian men’s volleyball vice-champions VC Greenyard Maaseik strengthened their squad with the Serbia National Team member.
Maaseik will try to bring back the championship title in Belgium with the 2019 CEV European Championship winner. Serbian Lazar Ćirović, a 29-year-old outside hitter, came to the EuroMillions Volley League giants from Baniyas VC, United Arab Emirates, which was his second club last season after Turkey’s Sorgun Belediye.
Ćirović was brought by Maaseik to add the much-needed experience to the squad, which no longer exists with the departures of Jelte Maan, Pieter Verhees, and Just Dronkers.
