Békéscsabai finished on second place last season after the finals marked by restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Fatum Nyíregyháza practically won 6th championship title in Hungary without playing a single final match, as BRSE (known as Békéscsabai) fought Covid-19 cases in their team that caused Nyíregyháza won first 2 games with a forfeit. Since Békéscsabai also could not come to the 3rd game, and there was no more time in the schedule (the FIVB set April 18 as the last date for the end of the national leagues), the title was awarded to Fatum Nyíregyháza.

Sara Najdic is a standard member of the Slovenian national team. She won several national and international titles as a member of Nova KBM Branik Maribor and last season as a member of Fatum Nyíregyháza.
