Árpád Baróti agreed to join the reigning Japanese men’s club volleyball champions Suntory Sunbirds on a temporary basis.
The Hungarian international Baróti has signed a contract with the V.League titleholders Sunbirds. From what volleyball.it learned, the 29-year-old opposite hitter, who spent the last season in France’s Tourcoing, will be a member of the Osaka club until its best player Dmitriy Muserskiy recovers. It is expected that the Russian star will be fit to play in November, which is until when Baróti’s contract is valid.
Recall that Muserskiy missed two major international tournaments this summer due to injury – the Tokyo Olympics and EuroVolley.
