Ante Šuker, a volleyball player from Ribola Kaštela, who had 11 points in this match, said:

We lost, I am not satisfied, we hoped for a better outcome. The guests proved to be very good at service, which we did not expect. We had a hard time realizing our attacks, so the game went to their side. We are a little bit disappointed because we looked much better in training than we showed in the game. But, let’s move on, we are preparing for the semifinals, where Mursa Osijek will probably be waiting for us again.

Davor Bogdanović from the winning team of Mursa Osijek, made 13 points in the game, after which he said:

We showed two faces in the game again, there were oscillations in the first set, but in the end, we managed to consolidate, service, defense and block and we managed to win again. We are turning towards derby with Mladost, which we want to fight back for the defeat in the Croatian Cup. We were close, so I hope that by then we will fix some things in our game and win.

Petar Jurić was the most efficient for the home team with 20 points, and at the guests, Ivan Matoković stopped at 26 points. The guests were better in all segments of the game, they made 51 points in attack (Kaštela 43), 9 aces and blocks (Kaštela 7 aces and 8 blocks).
