The world champion with the USA in 2014, Adams, found herself in a period of great changes. The Best Middle Blocker of the 2016 FIVB World Grand Prix and 2017 CEV Champions League posted on social media that she’ll leave professional volleyball (didn’t specify whether for good or temporary) to become the “mindset and confidence mentor for female athletes“. Adams also announced that she’ll move to Japan with her husband to start this new mentorship career to help female athletes to gain confidence in their competitive path, through the power of mentality.

We’ll have to wait and see if the 2021/22 season in Brazil’s Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde was the last in her volleyball career.
