The US National Team will get a huge boost before the 2022 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship.
The main attacker returned to the US National Team – Matthew Anderson. The Americans had major issues in the attacking producing from the opposite hitter’s position in the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Nations League. Kyle Ensing, who was a designated starter, as well as his backup Kyle Russell, showed not to have an appropriate amount of quality to cover this role. The best example of head coach John Speraw’s distrust of his opposites was the final tournament of the aforementioned competition. In it, none of the duo that went to Bologna, Italy, lived up to expectations. In the end, Torey DeFalco, the nominal outside hitter, ended the match as the opposite.
Thus, it was necessary to talk to Anderson to return to the team after his absence of one year. And, yes, one of the biggest stars of US volleyball will be a huge strengthening of the team in the 2022 FIVB World Championship in Poland and Slovenia.
Speraw hasn’t revealed the 14-man roster for the event yet.
