Mladost Zagreb secured a hard-fought 3-2 (25:19, 18:25, 25:18, 20:25, 15:13) victory over ACH Volley Ljubljana in their final MEVZA League match before the upcoming Final Four in Zagreb (March 4-6).
Despite leading after the first and third sets, Mladost had to battle through a tie-break to clinch the win. With this victory, they secured second place in the standings, avoiding a semifinal clash with ACH.
“This match was very important for us. We needed a tough game against a strong opponent like ACH. When you play with passion and emotion, you can beat even the best,” said Mladost coach Radovan Gačić.
