Mursa Osijek Wins First Playoff Clash Against Mladost 3:1
The Croatian volleyball championship playoffs kicked off with a thrilling battle, as Mursa Osijek edged out Mladost Zagreb 3:1 (19:25, 25:22, 26:24, 25:22) in a gripping 125-minute encounter.
Mladost took control early with a dominant first set, but Mursa responded by tightening their serve and attack. The third set was the turning point — despite Mladost having a set point, a couple of errors gave the edge to the guests. In the fourth, Mursa’s early aggression and composure in key moments sealed the deal.
Top performers included Michał Wójcik (21 pts) and Leo Andrić (20 pts) for Mursa, while Đorđe Jovović led Mladost with 15 points.
