All three matches of the 2nd round of the SuperSport Superliga for men ended with the same result — home victories of 3–1. The remaining two matches will be played on October 29.
The longest duel took place in Zagreb, at the Boško Božić Hall in Trnsko, where Dinamo defeated Marsonia 3–1 (25-22, 21-25, 25-19, 25-23). The visitors started strong, but the home team fought back and secured a confident win.
In Sisak, the home team surprised favorites Ribola Kaštela after 114 minutes of play, winning 3–1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-10). After losing the first set, Sisak completely took control of the match. Coach Ivan Rančić admitted afterward: “A totally deserved win for Sisak. They played with much more energy.”
The last match of the day was in Rijeka, where the home side beat Cratis Varaždin 3–1 (25-21, 25-23, 14-25, 25-22). Despite dropping the third set, Rijeka dominated again in the fourth to seal the victory.
