The second leg of Challenge Cup’s semi-finals between Ukrainian Khimik Yuzhny Odessa and Russian Uralochka-NTMK Sverdlovskaya oblast will be held in “Podpromie” hall in Polish Rzeszów, on March 29. The first match will also be played on a neutral court.

Due to the tense political situation in Ukraine the semi-final clash of Challenge Cup will not be played in Russia or Ukraine, but in two other neighboring countries.

The first game (March 25), which will be organized by Uralochka, will be held in the Belarusian capital Minsk while the rematch is to be played in Rzeszów.

It was a proposal by Khimik and the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) accepted the idea.

According to siatka.org, the renting of the hall in Rzeszów should not be a problem since “Podpromie” will be available on the day of the match.

Asseco Resovia will play in the Final Four for of the Champions League in Berlin and it’s the break in Orlen League so KS Developres SkyRes doesn’t have commitments.
