CUB M: Two players refused to return home after NORCECA Cup

Cuban media report that two members of the national team didn’t want to return home after the NORCECA Cup that was held in the United States from May 21 to May 23.

Despite the fact that the Cuban Volleyball Federation now allowed its players to go and play abroad, they keep escaping from the homeland.

The middle blocker Félix Chapman and receiver Inovel Romero requested political asylum to the immigration authorities of the United States, as “Trabajadores” writes.
