In the bronze medal match Bulgaria suffered a defeat against Italy.
“Italy deserved to win. They killed us with service” said Bulgarian head coach Plamen Konstantinov immediately after the game for WorldofVolley.
Konstantinov also stated that he will count on Vladimir Nikolov for Olympic qualifications.
“We do not have many options. With Yordanov and Sokolov being injured, we simply do not ahve so many opposites at this level.”
