Modena
Modena returned to the Champions League with a straight sets win over ACH Volley on the road. The Yellow squad had troubles only at the beginning of the game, but, when they prevailed in the first set, they stormed through the following two periods. Miloš Nikić was the top scorer in the winning side with 13 points, while Earvin N’Gapeth, Luca Vettori and Matteo Piano added 11 points each.
HalkBank scored a clean win against Budvanska Rivijera away, but only after a major comeback in the third set. Hosts were up by 16:11 and 21:18, however Turkish giant managed to turn the things around and to seize the set by 28:26 for a 3-0 win. Kevin Le Roux had a great game with 14 points, while Michal Kubiak collected 12 for the visitors.
Finally, PGE Skra Belchatow overpowered Dukla Liberec on the road. Nicolas Marechal was leading the Polish powerhouse with 15 points. Mariusz Wlazly made 11, while Facundo Conte finished the match with 10.
