In the women’s final, Brondby beat hosts Engelhom from Sweden in four sets 3-1(25-18, 23-25, 25-20, 25-9).
“I think we played our best match this year. We knew that Engelholm were physically stronger than us. Therefore, it was important for us to make them receive and pass as bad as possible so they could not set for their strong outside spiker and major star Isabelle Haak,” said the head coach of Brondby Jens Bang.
In the men’s finals, Nyborg from Norway downed Marienlyst (Denmark) in three sets 25-18, 25-19, 25-21 to take the crown of NEVZA.
