KB Insurance Stars VC, one of the two worst placed teams in the Korean championship, gave hard time to Rush&Cash at home court, but reigning champions prevailed in the tie-break 3-2 (25-16, 22-25, 20-25, 25-22, 15-13).
Once again, Robertlandy Simón was the key figure in Rush&Cash’s win which kept their chances to stay second in the standings and have home court advantage in playoff semifinals. The Cuban scored 42 points including six blocks!
On the other side, Slovakian Martin Nemec collected 25 points as the most efficient player of his team.
Thus, three rounds to go, Rush&Cash have one win more and one game more than the second place contenders, Samsung Bluefangs.
