GP 2016: First win for Thailand, Kongyot on fire

Thailand defeated Germany in the 3rd round of the Grand Prix 2016 Pool A.

After straight sets defeats from China and USA, the girls from Thailand managed to bounce back and to score their first win at the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2016. They outplayed Germany in four sets.

Thailand lost the opening set in the clash against Germany, however the second set changed the flow of this match. Thai crew prevailed by 28:26, tied the overall score to 1-1 and gained necessary confidence for the rest of the game.

With Ajcharaporn Kongyot on fire (21 points), Thailand won the third and the fourth set and clinched 3-1 victory.
