The tournament was held thanks to the support of the FIVB Development Fund and run by the Czech Volleyball Association.

Saturday featured group games, while Sunday saw classification matches. The teams came from regional qualifying tournaments.

The University in Ostrava-Poruba turned into a festival of colour. Yellow minivolleyball players competed in the smallest category, and there were Reds, Greens, Oranges and Blues.

All the minivolleyball players were accommodated at the Technical University in Ostrava.

On Sunday morning, the programme was complemented by the appearance of players from the Czech national team, who handed out souvenirs and signed autographs.
