Antonijevic
One of the first players who confirmed that in the next season will wear Volero’s shirt is Serbian setter Ana Antonijevic.
The experienced setter is looking forward to the coming season and the responsible position in the team:
“This will be my fourth season at Volero. My whole volleyball career is closely linked to Volero Zurich and the club has always supported me. I had a lot of valuable experience here. I am looking forward to returning to Zurich and now I can take over such a central role in the team” said Antonijevic.
Last season Antonijevic was loaned to CS Volei Alba Blaj. The team celebrate the Romanian championship this season, and Antonijevic and her team were also opponents of Volero Zürich in the group phase of this year’s CEV Volleyball Champions League. Already two weeks ago Ana Antonijevic made her comeback at Volero Zurich on World Cup in Kobe.
Recall taht Volero decided to part ways with ALL foreign players!
