The Swiss powerhouse will look totally different in the next season.

This has started only as a rumor, but now it is actually happening. Volero Zurich have decided to part ways with ALL foreign players!

Foluke Akinradewo has signed a contract with Japanese club Hisamitsu Springs, libero Gizem Karadayi have moved to Bursa, Irina Malkova and Ekaterina Orlova have returned to Russia, Fabiola and Mari Paraiba will go on a loan to Osasco, Olesya Rykhliuk is close to sign with Besiktas, Dobriana Rabadzieva is allegedly negotiating with Galatasaray, while Kenia Karcaces will probably continue her career in Ageo Medics, Japan.

So far, there is only no info about Nataliya Mammadova, Silvija Popović, Bojana Živković and Ana Antonijević, but according to Bruno Voloch every foreign player will leave Volero in the current transfer window. Also, do not forget that the Swiss side parted ways with head coach Zoran Terzić who went to Dinamo Moscow.

The reason for all of these changes is the club’s decision to give a chance to domestic players and to try helping Switzerland women’s national team to reach the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
