Vesna Djurisić (Captain Impel Wrocław): “I am very happy and proud of the team and the coach. We played against Sopot with great discipline. For the last three days we practiced specific tactical solutions that we were able to use on the field. We hope that we will present this form in the rest of the tournament.“
Tore Aleksandersen (Impel coach Wrocław): “This victory is a big step in the fight for the play-off’. Today we managed to play consistently. Particularly we presented ourselves well in block and defense. I am very happy with the victory.“
Izabela Bełcik (captain Atom Trefl Sopot): “The team from Wroclaw showed against us a whole new level. So far they played below their level. Our game does not bring us pride. We are angry. From the beginning, we didin’t play well. We tried to catch up with Impel in the second set, but we ran out at the end. This situation has slashed our wings. If it was 1:1 in sets, the match would start from the beginning. We ran out of strength, concentration, precision. We have very little time to mentally rebuild before the next game.“
Adam Grabowski (the Atom Trefl Sopot coach): “We were given a lesson in humility. We played in the previous round good game. The team from Wroclaw showed how to win matches with determination and defense. We have four days to recover, and erase this disgrace. We want to show the fans in Sopot, that we can play volleyball, the defeat against Impel was just an accident at work.“
