Mateusz Bieniek
Bieniek joined PGE Skra before the 2020/2021 season on a loan from Cucine Lube Civitanova. The middle blocker wanted to present his best and to play more. It was important in the context of calling up the Polish national team for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
“I am glad that I am staying at PGE Skra, a club with great traditions. Last season, I had the opportunity to see the organizational and sports level at which it operates and without much thought, I decided to extend the contract. I hope that we will finish the next PlusLiga games in a medal place, and I believe that as a strong team that is being formed, we are able to achieve it,”- says Mateusz Bieniek, the World Champion with the Polish national team.
