Jakub is the son of a coach Macieja Jarosz and brother of volleyball player Marcin Jarosz. In his career he won 3rd place in World League 2011 in Gdansk and 1st place in World League 2012 in Sofia. He won gold medal in European Championship 2009 in Turkey and took 3rd place in ECH in Austria/Czech Republic 2011.
