POL M: Skra player set to star at charity event in London

Jedrzej Mackowiak of PGE Skra BELCHATOW is among the players who will participate in the fifth edition of the Beach Volleyball Championship that is set to take place at Wood Wharf, just nearby Canary Wharf, in London. Two Beach Volleyball courts have been set up on the banks of the Thames River with more than 150 tons of sand transported there especially for the tournament. The organizers of this charity event hope to raise some 40,000 £ in order to help and support disabled kids.

“I am very excited and look forward to this tournament. I feel much honored to represent PGE Skra there in LondonMackowiak says. This past year he was among the players licensed for the CEV Volleyball Champions League and he delivered his best performance in Istanbul where Skra beat hosted Fenerbahce Grundig ISTANBUL.
