What was supposed to be two exciting and close games turn out to be blowouts in the first round of Orlenliga.
Chemik POLICE, rookie in this season just sweept Atom Trefl Sopot from the field in straight sets. Anna Werblinska was the star of the evening with 15 points joined by Aniol-Gajgal with 10.
In every set, Sopot led at the start while Chemik was able to dominate the later stages of every peroid winning them 25-16, 25-21, 27-25 respectively.
In the second match of the day, Farko Muszyna ran over KS Palac Bydgoszcz. Karolina Rozycka dominated the game with 17 points while nobody else even got to ten.
Bydgoszcz led only in the starting period of the third set and that didn’t last long at all. Result by sets was 25-20, 25-15, 25-15.
Tomorrow Wroclaw will face the PTPS Pila, and on Monday Dabrowa Gornicza will host Legionowo in the last match of the opening round.
