The match starring the home heroines of Atom Trefl SOPOT and Turkey’s standout VakifBank ISTANBUL scheduled for this coming November 26 for the third round in the prelims of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League is a unique opportunity to showcase Volleyball at its very best. With this in mind, the local organizers are trying to involve as many people as possible from the region of Pomerania.

Atom Trefl SOPOT has also tried to reach out for the fans of other sports that already have a season ticket to follow their heroes. This means that the supporters of Lechia GDANSK, for instance, will be able to get a free entry ticket for the much anticipated game with VakifBank. Also every single fan from any other team from the Pomerania region competing in the first or second division of the respective national leagues will also receive free tickets to attend the match with the 2013 club world champions from Turkey.

“We are still working on a number of other actions so as to make sure that the ERGO Arena will be packed on that night” says club President Roman Szczepan Kniter. “Atom Trefl is playing its home matches in a modern and world-class stadium with a capacity of 11,000 and most of the seats are empty. Our goal is to get an average audience standing at 4,000-5,000 people for an indoor sport like Volleyball. This would mean our players can profit from a great atmosphere to perform at their best; the spectators would enjoy a thrilling ambiance and as a result of all this our girls would play even better than they normally do, thereby getting closer to the achievement of their goals.”

The action promoted by Atom Trefl is involving clubs from many different sports like, for example, soccer, basketball, handball, or even speedway. This will be a unique opportunity to showcase to all these people Volleyball at its very best, a sport which combines athleticism, emotions, and an always unpredictable result, though VakifBank will travel to Poland with a winning streak spanning through 60 consecutive matches.
